I Investigated Malware in Games (PART 2)

Today, I'm taking a look into pc games and software disguised as game launchers that supposedly contain malware. I ran tests on these games and looked at what they do in the background while the game itself is open. I did all of this in a virtual machine so DO NOT do what you see here. Also, please note that some of these games may just be false positives so its just better to be safe than sorry no matter what. I hope you enjoyed the video! Please drop a like and a comment, it would be greatly appreciated! :D

As a Turkish person, the GTA Ransomware literally says;

You are literally dumb!
(What happened to your files?)
Give us 5 Turkish liras we are hungry and thirsty bro.
Enter the donation amount below if you want to. This will be taken from your credit card.

I am watching you
The access to your microphone is denied.

GTA5
Credit Card couldn't be found.

(Quick note; It's probably an old ransomware because 5 Turkish Liras is literally 0.13USD rn, and with 5 Turkish liras you cant even buy a bread)

the "mickey maze" game is a parody of the game "sad satan" a notoriously awful game that was banned for disgusting (illegal) images etc, the same song is used in both mickey maze and sad satan and they both use the same atmosphere and style of flashing images on the screen

Little bit of context to sonic gather battle: From what I remember it is a legitimate fangame, but the Dev of it was incredibly protective of the game (specifically the sprites in the game), to the point they added in DRM which was essentially malware.

If the game detected anything with "cheat" in the name running (including doing a web search in a browser of the word) it would kick in, cause the game to go spoopy mode, close your browsers, and make a log of your IP and send it off to dev so they could "blacklist" your computer.

Cue shitstorm, and the dev getting run off the internet. Funny enough though, people did end up ripping the sprites anyways.

15:03 Sonic Gather battle is probably impossible to run , the game indeed knows if you run it in virtual machine also does work because it need to ping a server that doesn’t exist anymore, the game was infamous for the crazy dev who can spy on you To see if you try to extract characters Sprites or try to search for cheats for game , if you did the game will break itself

18:26 Panicore IS an actual game (11GB) thats on steam and those are screenshots from that game. those guys are trying to profit from the hype the game had on tiktok a few months ago.

The sounds at 23:46 is from a horror game called Sad Satan. You would wander around a dark maze, while images of violence, gore, crime scene photos, and illicit child material pop up onscreen. I think it's a sort of ''How long can you last'' type of challenge. The game was practically wiped off the internet, and is quite difficult to find.

It was created as a last ditch attempt for a youtuber called Obscure Horror Corner to get views and subscribers on his channel, before he abandoned it.

There is a remake version up right now with not as graphic image popups, and it mostly focusses on the horror maze aspect of the game, but some version remakes still do exist with disgusting violence and illegal images.

3:06, when you launched "the game" it just popped up with a fake error message and ran the malware it was never actually a game

@Saturnblue0708 1 year ago

Error422 does actually have a lot of effects, they occur randomly as you play and make the game way more difficult, I'm pretty sure there is also an entity that may spawn and kill you after playing for a certain amount of time as well

oml hearing sonic gather battle mention made the memories come back lmfao
So basically sonic gather battle was a sonic fangame but the creator got too protective of the assets in the game and made it have this crazy DRM that was basically malware. If you tried to look up cheats while the game was open the DRM would activate and I'm pretty sure it sent your IP address to a database.

That Happiness Mickey Mouse game is using sounds from the Seweycide Mouse (yk what word i mean) creepypasta and a "dark web" horror maze game called Sad Satan. Sad Satan is honestly one of the only things that scare me so much due to the fact that the original version of the game includes many "lore" jumpscares and theres even a cheese pizza jumpscare.
