Whoever wrote the lyrics, knows some serious Urdu literature. I usually don't listen to Punjabi songs mostly because I don't understand them but this song is just incredible.

No fancy cars, no wanna be gangster shit, no alcohol. Just pure talent.

I'm so happy to see manpreet toor finally in a music video.

Kudos to the production and the direction team of this video.
Video looks really amazing.

I don't even need to say about the artists, both of them did a great job ❤️.

they be having songs like “zaalima coco cola” cross so many views and are sleeping on this actual masterpiece
the background is amazing, the outfits are beautiful, the background music lit - all in all this song is a whole vibe
like explain how this hasn’t crossed at least 100 million views while other useless songs have

miss you sufi 😢 I still want you.. If anyone likes this, I'll come back to listen.

This song is the perfect mixture of Punjabi and Urdu

Hope you guys enjoy this 💛

Perfect song  with no sexualization or anything vulgar.
One of the most beautiful song out there.
Whoever wrote this has beauty in their hearts.
And the perfect representation of the beauty of Punjab and Punjabis.
♡♡

This song was played at my cousin's wedding.. This song is so beautiful, mesmerizing and soulful.

This looks so royal with these beautiful outfits. Felt like an advertisement for clothing brand lol. Also that lehenga must have been heavy but she danced so effortlessly.

Finally EZU getting RECOGNIZED he was so UNDERRATED! I am proud I can say I was his fan when he was not known Much!

LYRICS:

Kal maahi diyan akhan naa
Akhan char ho gaiyan
Othe jannat te dekh
Darwaze aaya main

Khushiyan di uthdi baraat payi si
Uthe peeda de dekh ke janaze aaya main
Din ki raat ki aaj kitte baad ki
Reh laange pairi ohna de saddi aukat ki

Naale dasseya ke kaise yeh mohabbat meri
Sab dilwale karke khulase aaya main

Kal maahi diyan akhan naa
Akhan char ho gaiyan

Othe jannat te dekh
Darwaze aaya main
Kal maahi diyan akhan naa
Akhan char ho gaiyan
Othe jannat te dekh
Darwaze aaya main

Char din dekhan na bukhar jeha lagdae
Neendan ton perhez din bekaar jeha lagdae
Akh mere yaar di hakeem naal beemar di
Peedan utte auna bada pyar jeha lagdae

Jehde boohe ton ohna de rehnde pair langhde
Jehde boohe ton ohna de rehnde pair langhde

Ho matha tek ke te kal us passe aayi main
Kuchh shayari ki ratt ton likha ke rakhi si
Maula haazir si othe te suna ke aaya main

Kal maahi diyan akhan naa
Akhan char ho gaiyan
Othe jannat te dekh
Darwaze aaya main

Kal maahi diyan akhan naa
Akhan char ho gaiyan
Othe jannat te dekh
Darwaze aayi main

Hath gaya phaddeya te gall ho gayi
Si ne jehdi dikkatan si hall ho gayi
Kuckh pal ohna kol baith ke ghuzareya si
Saari kaaynat sadde vall ho gayi

Reit vich unglan nu waunde waunde kal assi
Ohna di bana tasveer baithe
Shaalan saanu lok rogi rogi kehn lagge assi
Rog nu hi mann taqdeer baithe

Kuchh damne luka ke assi chori rakhe si
Saari daultan nu ohna te luta ke aayi main

Kal maahi diyan akhan naa
Akhan char ho gaiyan
Othe jannat te dekh
Darwaze aaya main

Kal maahi diyan akhan naa
Akhan char ho gaiyan
Othe jannat te dekh
Darwaze aayi main

Dekh jannat ke darwaze aaya main
Dekh jannat ke darwaze aaya main
Dekh jannat ke darwaze aaya main
Dekh jannat ke darwaze aaya main

sometimes u don't have to understand the lyrics to love a song

Tbh I dedicate this song to my mother as she's the only beloved and jannat de darwaze

It's like a poet's poetry. So, therapeutic and calming:) ❤️

Pakistani Punjabi singers really refresh my mood
Pure poetry

This is such an underrated song!
Its sad to see such songs not get the appreciation its supposed to!
From A - Z everything is perfect... this song is much better than Filaal 2!

The song has a sufiyana concept. It's so beautiful and soothing.
