Okay, Hiccup's actor absolutely nailed the body language of an introvert who suddenly became the center of attention.

Main problem is that they cut the parts that showed how hiccup learns about the dragons out of the movie which in my opinion was  some of the best parts.

Making the terrible terror looking like a chameleon with severe ADHD is just god tier

So, the lesson for today is: dragons are just big cats

The animated movie will always be better but this is impressive how they managed to make me a long time fan of this enjoy these beats

I love how they showed that Barf and Belch actually smelled the eel before backing off into their pen. That was a nice little detail that’s not in the original movie.

Toothless is so cute, I want to hug him.

3:23 I think that table slide was completely improvised by Snotlout's actor. He did a fantastic job playing the cocky little asshole xD

3:24 The way he just drop kicks the table is my favorite part 😂😂😂😂😂

Why snotlout why

The movie may not be as good as the original, but like I said, it's one of the better live-action adaptations out there! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

These transition to realistic are really good for the dragons. Just enough realistic details to look like they fit in the world. But not too much where they look nothing like their cartoonely counterpart and looking gross

Live action remakes will never beat the animation originals, but goddamn is the HTTYD one great.

Astrid’s flips were sick 🔥 but also the humor in this movie just didn’t land, the actors didn’t commit to the bit enough lol

2:14 lmao that rolling out is the cutest thing

I love how the Terrible Terror just looks like a chameleon with horns and wings.

They really made the Terrible Terror like a chameleon.

Hiccup: Who’s a good boy? Who’s a good boy?

Funny enough they actually did film the scene in which hiccup sneaks toothless into the village at night and while the toothless model is unrendered it does make him appear like his animated model from the OG films

I love how it seems like Astrid and Stormfly are already somewhat in sync despite still being adversaries at this point, with Astrid dodging her tail swipe, and both of them moving into a combat ready position at the same time.
