I absolutely loved this movie as a child, my kids loved it, and my grandchildren love it!

It's always been a special film since I was taken to the cinema to see it in 1964 I guess.

Should I say that in Saving Mr . Banks , Walt Disney and crew added more scenes even the scenes that P . L . Travers said no to in order to make Mary Poppins a successful movie ?

I heard you say that he did have a coach but the coach was not English so the coach didn't know what he was doing either. But I love Bert's speech in this movie

According to another vlog about the making of Mary Poppins, the chimney sweep dance scene in the rooftop was originally performed in one take. Unfortunately, the actors were told something had gone wrong with the filming and they had to do the whole scene again and so they did so in just one more take. So it took just 2 takes to film the scene. I have no idea if this is true or whether this vlog's assertion that it took several takes to film is true. Just thought I'd mention this.

I knew Julie had her baby on set and was nursing her, but I did not know that she was pregnant when she was asked to do the role and that they waited for her to have the baby.🍼

Julie Andrew's is an United Kingdom citizen and best friends with Carol Burnett 😊

When I saw Dick Van Dyke doing a dance at 98 years old, I was stunned. He looked exactly as he did as Mr Dawes Senior in Mary Poppins. Well, a little scruffier than Mr. Dawes facially, but he looked like his made up self.

I was very surprised to hear that the carousel horses were real

Travers still hated it

Julie Andrews sounds like she’s from England because of her English accent

That's not true! Dick DID have a dialect coach who just happened to be an Irishman! Please do your homework before making a video!

This is AI. You can always tell..It wasn't just, it was....It would also be good if the video matched the voice over. Saying that. Not bad. I've seen worse
