Maybe it's us that's in a coma and Homer could just be a cartoon character.

Ned did drink! He had a rumpus room and even had Homer down to it for beer and sandwiches provided by Maude.

The coma theory falls flat when you consider how much it’d cost to keep someone in a coma alive in the American healthcare system for 30 years.

Imagine when The Simpsons has a series finale episode, and at the end of the episode, Homer wakes up in a hospital bed, with his family much older and excited to see him finally awake. :cat-orange-whistling:

That scene of Homer looking at the sky, that image, is pure art.

This was so interesting, especially the stuff about the core family members. I don't buy the coma theory, but the theme of intelligence in a stupid world is really there and now seems to me the essence of what the show is about.

"HOMR" is definitely a reference to "Flowers for Algernon" (or the film version "CHARLY"). Where does 2001: A Space Odyssey fit into this at all???

I mean if one of the creators says it’s not the case … but I liked the video though, I love listening to theories

My Maggot Brain Theory is: Burns is Satan and his assistant doesn’t realize he’s a fallen Angel…😢❤

Ive thought about the Moe one but where it falls apart is the episode where Bart tries to set Jimbo up and Moe shows up to kill the prankster. If he really knew it was Bart that doesn't make sense.
