The ’55 Chevy Nomad is getting closer to paint, but first comes one of those jobs where every little detail matters — masking!

Blair and Murray, aka Mr. Meticulous, get to work covering and sealing every hole, opening and gap on the Nomad. With the engine, frame and several parts already finished, there’s no room for overspray to sneak through and land where it doesn’t belong.

It’s a time-consuming job, but careful prep now can save a whole lot of trouble later. Blair and Murray work their way around the car making sure everything is protected and the Nomad is ready for the next big step — paint!

We also get a visit from Blair’s friend Scott, who tackles the old scratched and cloudy headlights on Lou’s Toyota RAV4. Scott takes us through the whole process of sanding, polishing and applying a protective coating to bring them back to life. The difference is pretty impressive — they look awesome when he’s finished!

A little Nomad paint prep, a little headlight restoration, and plenty of shop talk along the way.

Thanks for watching and being part of our focus group!
