Every Mario Kart game has an even amount of characters that can be split up into multiple teams of two. What would the default character pairs be if each Mario Kart game's roster was re-formatted to be like Double Dash? You might be shocked at how some of the teams shaped out!

For the Koopalings it should be Bowser Jr with Larry, Iggy with Lemmy, Ludwig with Wendy, and Roy with Morton. I think that would look so much better

I think Jr and Nabbit should be together with the same mask. I could see Luigi with Rockie Wrench as a call to luigi's engine room in mario party.

Remember that in Mario 64 DS, Wario had the metal power up, which would a nice nod to that if Wario and Metal Mario teamed up

6:52 I personally would’ve paired Iggy & Lemmy together since Iggy used to also have rainbow hair in the older Mario games and the 2 were twins in the old Mario cartoons as well as Wendy & Larry since they are the 2 most popular Koopalings or at least the most prominent…

1. Mario (Normal/Fire)🧢
2. Luigi (Normal/Fire)🧢
3. Peach (Fairy)👑
4. Toad (Normal)🍄
5. Bowser (Fire/Dragon)🐢
6. Koopa Troopa (Normal)🐢
7. Yoshi (Dragon)🦖
8/Finale. Donkey Kong Jr. (Ground)🦍

I do think a better way to split up Bowser, Bowser Jr., Kamek, and the Koopalings into duos would be like this:

Larry and Ludwig (in Mario & Luigi Paper Jam, they team up as a duo when you fight them).

Roy and Wendy (same deal as Larry and Ludwig).

Iggy and Lemmy (they were twins in the DIC Mario cartoons, and they are also the craziest of the group).

Morton and Bowser Jr. (in Bowser Jr.'s Journey, Morton was the most loyal of the Koopalings to Bowser Jr. despite how bratty Jr. acted towards them, and Jr. hugs Morton in one of the later cutscenes in that game, which made me believe that Morton is the closest Koopaling to Jr.)

And finally, Bowser and Kamek (pretty self-explanatory).
