"Why did you stop?"
"Because you didn't."

This man just froze a whole lake and that line was colder. xD

I love it when Aang uses’s Toph’s earthbending techniques, not just her seismic sense, but her movements too, her style is just so recognisable

aang: tries to save her from falling to her death
korra: "and i took offense to that"

Aang stopped because he knew that korra was starting to be a bit more like Ozai

Aang immediately losing his staff practically makes this cannon imo 😂

Can we appricate how when Aang thought Kora was hurt while falling he went to help her despite being in the middle of a fight? How sweet that is, how I wish we could see this mentorship between master and pupil play out.

I come back to this every once in a while coz it’s just so cool

Also, they go nyaa

I love how even fan animations make Aang lose his staff

Alternative title: Two cats change the entire geography of the planet in 5 minutes.

"korra would beat aang" "aang would beat korra" this is actually a pretty realistic representation of their individual strengths and weaknesses and fighting styles where korra is very strong and upfront (which is why it was hard for her to learn air) and aang is defensive like airbenders are taught to be
they would not beat each other, their fight would be equal because their skillsets are too different to be scaled against each other and have a clear "winner"

1:43 this moment here where the rock armor is blown off and he just kind of awkwardly gives her that goofy "oh crap" grin when it's all removed is absolutely on point for character accuracy

"Why did you stop?"
"Because you didn't."

Seriously, that felt like something canonically out of the show

Definitely fits the bill here, Aang stopping because Korra didn't. I find this to be the most true to their character. Korra would definitely turn up and Aang would realize this and cool things off.

i love that even though they’re 3D animated cats they still look like themselves

The animator perfectly captured their personalities. Korra being rash and headstrong, but more-so, Aang being defensive/evasiveo and only attacking when necessary right up until he was force into the avatar state. even when korra went all avatar state, he refused to, which is something that Aang would have definitely done.
