The question isn't what assets survive a currency reset. The question is whether you'll still be allowed to own them when it happens

printing currency IS Inflation. and it's a tax nobody voted for. Time matters, if it's done temporarily it's a justified Government's tool to make adjustments to the economy. if it's done continuously for over 55y, it's fatal.
CBDC is not money either, it's just another digital currency. strictly speaking, not even cash is money. It's all about conrtol.

You can be sure that only the savings and assets of the ordinary folk who worked hard and saved will be “redistributed” if that happens. All super wealthy will keep their wealth and multiply it as they have through centuries.

Digital Currency is all fine until the power goes out. Went into a store yesterday that had an issue with the card readers. Couldn't take electronic payment. You know what they still could take.. .Cash.

For wealthy people, that may be good advice. But for young, everyday people living mainly on wages, the most valuable asset is their competence and ability to adapt. That means building useful skills, staying flexible, and even learning how to live on less when necessary. Over time, that adaptability can become a real advantage. In a changing world, many people may ultimately end up in a better position than before because society places greater value on those who can actually do, build, and adjust.

You can’t lose what you don’t have: just something to think about. This only applies to people who even have the means to buy assets. If you’re living paycheque to paycheque, it doesn’t matter.

What assets? I guess a flok of chickens, 2-3 rabbits, 1 goat and a couple of bee hives. In adition, sharp axe and Doberman.

I grew up off grid and never really worried about power outages.

About ten years ago a wild fire took out the main transmission line in my area, even the radio station was down and I was left wondering if if this was “it” and if I could cobble together a way to keep my freezer going using only hand tools.
