When you see the flight time on booking vs when they make an announcement, the one you see on booking is the scheduled block time, which starts from doors closed until you are parked at the gate including taxi time. When we make an announcement onboard, we usually tell you the “burn” time, which is the time from takeoff to touchdown, so the time of the actual flight.

If 2 of you are flying economy on Etihad A380 check out seat 76J and K. K had nothing in front so counts as extra legroom but it means the other passenger can share the massive extra space you get from having no seat in front. Plus, it's easy for both of you to get out to the toilet. Doing this tomorrow to Tokyo from Abu Dhabi and back. Only costs an extra £30 each flight compared to $60 for two legroom seats elsewhere.

As a frequent Traveler who keeps going back home for 3 decades now fr 🇺🇸 to the 🇵🇭.I look forward to those layovers and do some shopping😎. I placed those wet wipes and sanitizers on a Ziplocked plastic bag so it won’t leak on the rest of my stuff.

I have made the Pacific crossing 107 times roundtrip.   I have been fortunate that my company paid business class (most of the time)...so really not that bad.  My best tip is no alcohol or sleep aids....makes the "morning" arrival much worse.

Another onboard bathroom option that I use is to wait until you feel the plane slow down (about 45 mins to landing), most ppl have already been there, so there's no line and you don't have to rush to one once on the ground if you had coffee.  I also stop off at an airport cafe as soon as I can because there's not luggage to grab right after landing, thus no point standing around the carousel while bags are deplaned.

I flew premium economy on Eva in December to Taipei. It was 2000 round-trip from San Francisco compared to 1000 economy. It was good but it wasn’t worth $1000 extra money I paid and when you get off the plane in Taiwan, you have to walk like three football fields to get to where you need to go…..ugh

Got to have a sling bag! I keep passport, boarding pass, ear phones, med tablets ( Pepto, gum, cough drops) ink pen, cash, anything else I put in my cargo pants. No need to bring baby wipes because in the two meals served are wet towelettes. I just put those in my sling bag to freshen up when I go to Lavatory. Im 6 ft 6in and 200lbs so I need the leg room and I always choose the first exit row in economy. I deplane right behind the Premium economy section so it works out for me!

I wouldn't wear shorts on long flight though, and compression socks is a must 🤩

Years ago, I used to fly from Kuala Lumpur to Florida, the trip went KL to Singapore to Taipei,  to Tokyo, to Honolulu, to LA and then onto Tallahassee. It was an absolute nightmare, almost 3 days of travel. At least now you can generally have only one stop over the Pacific.

I have transferred thru Incheon Airport many times. Best airport I have ever used. Very clean and well organized with well vented smoking areas near the gates. Food places accepted my USA currency.

I’ve flown a route similar to this several times: Vancouver, Canada–> Incheon–> Cebu City–> Incheon–> Vancouver. Incheon is a great airport ✈️

Bang on. I travel every two weeks as well and never understand the people that look like there moving with all there luggage on the plane.
