Phil. I have been watching your videos and this small harbor series is fantastic viewing. My fishing is usually fly fishing but I do dabble in the sea fishing around the Stonehaven area. I did try the same style as you and Gordon and wow, I caught plenty of fish, what a fine day I had. small hooks and a lighter rod and line worked very well. Thank you for producing and highlighting what is here on the wild and rocky coast of the north east of Scotland
Wonderful Videoโs Phil, and this is coming from someone whoโs never caught a fish in his life. Your enthusiasm and passion make your videoโs well worth watching!! Iโll pass this on to my son who loves fishing. Looking forward to your Eyemouth footage, where we met you out on the Pier!! From your Canadian fansโฆ S and A-M.
Hello, Phil & Gordon. Having fished as a coarse angler, I see what you mean about sea anglers saying I'll let it develop. I'd be tempted to strike quite early for a bite. Smoked haddock breakfast, what a treat they look delicious.
Great stuff Phil, yea niver stick, sort the rod and keep on fishing ๐ fitten great day that was, a really nice spot tae fish aff and a gweed freen tae fish alongside ๐ ๐ฃ๐๐๐
Hi Phil, Good idea taking some heavy spinning gear or float rods out sea fishing it may make all the differance. Plus not everyone has beach casting equipment .Like you I have some Lidl hooks and other fishing stuff , cheap way to bring younger anglers into the sport.
