The Tape WWE Never Wanted You To See?

Backstage footage from a 1995 WWF tour that has gone unreleased for three decades is set to come out this month. Joe Dombrowski of Pro Wrestling Library says a trailer drops next week, and his teaser matches the camcorder footage Darryl Peterson shot on his last WWF tour. Peterson wrestled as Man Mountain Rock in the WWF and Maxx Payne in WCW.

In this video I go through who Peterson is, what he says is on the tape, why he says Vince McMahon let him film it, what he says it shows of The Kliq, Louie Spicolli and Owen Hart, and what happened after a trailer for it first showed up in 2008.

Recorded October 8, 2026.

Stop dragging it out

There was no copyright issue for the name Max Payne with the video game because that was in 1995 and that game didn't come out until the 2000s brother so I'd edit that part out

Was at the Oct 28 1995 Victoria BC house show. I was in the front row and recall Gold Dust being very new and Diesel vs Yokozuna and that Diesel couldn't use the power bomb on Yoko. I have some photos somewhere and although the record does not state it, Sycho Sid was there too and being in the front row you could see how massive he was walking by.

Aw man. I was hoping it was the transcript of them planning the MSJ and how everyone involved would come out looking great as a result.

I was only buying WWF Magazine at the time, no coverage whatsoever in that publication that I remember, no surprise there I guess. But 1995 was when I turned 18 and was just getting back into wrestling after the start of the New Generation era.

As I told my girlfriend “Get to the point because right now I don’t care anymore.”

The Thing That Should Not Be. Named after the Metallica song. I liked the big man and Rad Radford. Also Bam Bam was one of the best Big Man wrestlers ever. Bret Hart was 100% correct regarding weed and pain management.

Nash will probably come off bad because he's targeted over identity politics now. Back then lot of "offices" let many work environments be run by useful volatility because they didn't want anybody succeeding beyond cult or make their salary market lol. It's only question what did he catch in only two weeks.
