I always described my daddy as a man with the handsome looks of dean Martin and the ruggedness of John wayne, my daddy was in the navy he was wounded in pearl harbor big time, he was only 57 when he passed in 1982, lost him to soon in my life I was 22......I Miss you daddy....
Nice story, vivid imagination - fun to hear. Not true (I can assure you that expensive cars make the least amount of noise, according to the story Dean drove a rental from the airport) Mack Gray was Dean Martin's long time personal assistant. No name provided for the magazine. Like I said - great story. ❤️
Dean used to wait on tables in clubs and sing for tips. My two uncles remembered when he worked at the Jungle Inn outside of Youngstown, Ohio. That had to be before 1942 because they joined the Army Air Force right after Pearl Harbor.
