I've read three historic books on the Australian gold rush of 1851.
I can't believe the direction that Victoria has gone when it comes to gold prospecting in Victoria. One just needs to read some Australian history to realise the importance and value of the gold industry and what it has done to make Australia and Australians who they are today.
Gold mining and gold prospecting is part and parcel Australian lineage, and people who have the interest and fortitude to go to the outback and on rivers and creeks in search of gold should be able to do so unimpeaded.

Thank you so much for taking us along for this. I've been a Paramedic 20 years and I'm off work waiting on knee replacements due to chronic gout. The term "tad" (meaning a small amount) originated in the U.S. in the late 19th century, likely shortened from "tadpole" to describe a small child. By 1915, this slang evolved to mean a small amount or "a little bit" of something

It's true, Chris: over the last couple of months, I've discovered that I became unsubscribed to 3 other channels I watch. No notification, no warning.
