i love when you put something down and go “they’re gonna love that” it’s so funny every time

This is definitely a game where you need to start over at least once. Took me until city #5 to be really happy with mine (this is my first city builders since Sim Town in the... late 90's so I was a bit rusty, lol) but now I love it. :D

It always impresses me how smoothly she draws her roads

1:06:28 If anyone’s looking for something in between City Skylines and Town To City, my recommendation is Foundation! It came out January 2025. It is a medieval style city builder with a cozy atmosphere and cute decorating like Town To City, but has more emphasis on resource management like in City Skylines.
I cannot recommend Foundation enough!

umbrellas make window canopies, the garden trellis chair thingy can go on walls, don't forget the greens can go in windows! the single and cluster flowers make garlands on straight wall spots, flowers and lights can go in the water, the large wooden planters are designed to fit perfectly on the edges of the balconies (especially the corners), flower clusters turn into low square planters on balconies, and don't forget the signs that go on buildings too :)

I'm not into city builders at all, but Kayla is starting to sell me on this one. I especially like the art style, and it seems like a chill game that's not overly complex like some city builders.

I love how you spent the entire stream defending your choice to restart, saying that the save wasn’t deleted, and then you put “deleting” in the VOD title 😂

It's fascinating watching someone from America build a city, its all grids. In the UK and the rest of Europe most villages (that become town and cities) build up organically around something- a main road, market square, church or on the edges of estates (family estates with lots of land and farms) where the workers lived. We're just not used to grids.

Beyond happy to get another Town To City video

Fascinating how very American coded Simsies new town is😂
My mind while building is constantly to organically build up, like a medieval town the old part is by the train station, as we evolve we expand in the land and adapt and slowly it spreads into a bigger city lol can you tell I’m European?

I’ve been WAITING for this one!! Maybe an unpopular opinion but I love her non-sims VODs.

You can get sooooo detailed with decorating in this game, it's so cool.

I SAW THIS stream title pop up like a week ago, and have been dying for the VOD because I missed it!

Genuinely so obsessed with this game, I saw part of the first stream and bought it immediately! It’s great to see more content of it from you!

"Feels weird to see you with hair" 😭😭😭

As someone with Rosacea, sensitive skin is no joke! 😂 My outbreaks and flashes are similar to what you mentioned. Skin hydration and limited, plant-derived ingredients have been the key for me!

I have an allergy to acrylates that gave me similar problems! It's in a lot of skincare/makeup, even some toothpaste. It's the stuff that makes acrylic for nails but it's in many other things also

love how she seamlessly draws roads and paths lol

At the beginning of this Kayla was talking about the sun coming into her room. It immediately made me think of the John Denver song "Sunshine on my Shoulders." especially since the recent loss of her family dog. I can't believe it'll be 4 years this May for me since I had to say goodbye to my best friend.

Been binge watching the stardew valley streams but the town to city ones are my favorite
