I am a 75 year old retired finish carpenter / cabinet maker from eastern Long Island, New York. I’ve been a subscriber for a while. I think you are a very talented young lady. Your mom and dad and Cecil must be very proud of your accomplishments.

word to the wise...my appliance repairman has told me that these older model top load washers are way more dependable than the newer front loading stuff. He said as long as I can find parts for the old ones to hang onto them! Everything looks so good. Great job 🎉

I love when you show your mistakes, I learn more from them than the things you do right.  thanks for keeping it real!

The louver doors look good in there for now. This whole space is completely transformed. You should be very proud.

Your laundry room is now beautiful and functional.  I just love it.

The final reveal was definitely worth watching! ❤

The louvered doors are not only lovely, they really enhance the space!

Absolutely use your antique doors in the laundry room. They are beautiful!

Your laundry room LOOKS GREAT!!!! ❤

I've always had decorating paralysis, fear of not liking something or making a mistake so I don't do anything. Your honesty, vulnerability, and talent have pushed me to start with a can of paint! Lol. Thank you.

This gives me so much inspiration for my own laundry room.

I love it! I think the wood screen adds warmth to the space. :)

I love how functional and stylish the new space is.

I’m thinking this is my favorite project so far!

The laundry room turned out beautiful.

I love how organized and beautiful this space turned out.

Just a thought-don’t get front loading washer. I’ve had both. Front loaders are more trouble than they’re worth. Love the room.

Perfect Abby, well done!  Good call to lose the hutch.  Also love the louvre doors around the water tank.

From basic to beautiful—what a transformation! 🤩
