Of all the things that are too dumb to be real, this is one of them. If the writer repeated everything 4 more times they could hit an hour of run time.

You should have nipped this in the bud. Years ago.  You always knew this was happening.  The way they treated you from the beginning.  People like this never change.  They only get worse.  Meaner. Awful people.  Get rid of her and her mother.  Ugh.

Is life  sad but it happens some people are evil no other way to describe

Hmm, I have to agree with the consensus. The story continually repeats: you hear about his wife questioning what was happening, and then he walks away or waves at his 6-year-old. Got a bit confused at that point for me. Then he talks about the divorce, and the spoiler alert: he fought for his kids. Still have no idea what his card did, or its importance/relevance or its purpose. Most frustrating. Sigh.

This would have been a more powerful story if only there wasn't the constant repetition.

Additionally, it would have added to the story if it was explained that he obtained physical custody of the children and mom got the weekends.  The way the mom handled the vacation shows she didn't have the best interests of her children and with a good lawyer, husband would have had considerable influence in court on who gets children

Cannot give a thumbs up because, even tho you mentioned he saw a lawyer, nothing about the fallout to his wife & MIL. That's important bec. they're a central part of this story

Too much repetition.  And what was he doing with his black card at the service desk????  Confusing....
