From Euro Disney's disastrous IPO in 1989 to its spectacular rebirth as Disney Adventure World, how did Disneyland Paris become the stage for the biggest financial trap in the history of theme parks?
For over 25 years, thousands of French shareholders watched their savings vanish. Narrow bankruptcies, colossal debts, and cultural clashes punctuated the resort's history. Yet, The Walt Disney Company continued to collect over a billion euros in royalties. In this comprehensive documentary, we will analyze the ruthless financial scheme that bled the French subsidiary dry, understand how engineering and the masterpiece Space Mountain saved the park from bankruptcy, and decipher the aesthetic swindle of Walt Disney Studios under Paul Pressler. All this leading up to the fateful 2036 deadline for the third park... Welcome to the Mickey Mouse curse.
