Locke (2013), directed by Steven Knight, is no ordinary movie. It isn’t even an ordinary bottle movie, movies that take place entirely in one location. Locke is a movie that takes entirely in a moving car, starring one actor—Tom Hardy—going through the whole 90 minute script start to finish twice a day for six days. That’s crazy! And so here’s how they did it.

Radney Foster "A Fine Line"
There's a curve in the highway, just south of town
Where a man has pulled over to figure life out
With only his conscience and the lonesome sound
Of diesels winding up grade
He's got a wife and two kids, and they love him so
A woman down in Georgia, and she's startin' to show
He's damned if he leaves her, and he's sure damned if he don't
And he wonders how life got this way
I remember enjoying it very much the one time i watched it, thinking of how great the idea was, budget-wise, the story in itself, and Tom Hardy's performance, which I thought was extraordinary.
Hardy was the perfect pick for this role.
