Which title contender is better placed with the next run of races coming up?

The crazy thing is MM is definitely not on the best bike.
He’s is the best Ducati. Look at the Aprilia’s all four in the top six. They usually all finish in top ten unless someone is hurt.
It will be interesting next year especially if all the bikes are close and the talent of the riders could be on display. MM is the GOAT for sure but age and mileage is against him. At this point he’s the best rider if fully fit and second best with half an arm tied behind his back.  Time will catch up to him for sure I just hope not in the next few years.

It's Marcs, now. He doesn't need the best bike to win. He  proved that in '16, '17. 18, 19 and possibly last year as well. He just needs a bike that's good enough.

Ducati needs to be burning some extra barrels of midnight oil because Marc’s bad races seem to be worse than Martin’s

6:57 likes of Bez & Diggia also didn't join in that so Marc's not the only one to get away with that

Marc has turned his phasers to kill mode. I hate to bring up the year that shant be mentioned but hear me out. I think it's extremely interesting to contrast the approaches on bagging the 8th MotoGP chip. IMO Rossi lost it because he lost focus. I feel like Marc learned a lot from that and is going to the other extreme. Hence skipping the kart race. "I can afford the fine"

Sometimes alliteration is not the best idea.

Barry Sheene did it qualifying replaced by Steve Parrish good on MM

I’d like to give a bit of credit where it is due, and commend MSEG (if that’s what they like to be called these days) for their TV coverage of the premier class race. Rather than simply showing Marc cruising around at the front of the pack while managing the gap to Jorge, they actually showed quite a bit of perhaps the only interesting racing that took place on Sunday. They spent quite a bit of time showing and commentating on Enea’s push towards the podium positions, and the Trackhouse boys having a little scuffle with Pedro Acosta. That was actually quite refreshing when compared to their usual mindless, repetitive footage of Marc ripping around the racetrack all by his lonesome. As a VideoPass subscriber, it does often force me to manually change the camera feed, but I’m keenly aware that most viewers don’t have that option, so good on the TV directors for trying to make a show out of an otherwise insufferably boring race.

When the going gets tough the tough and Marc get going.

What is wrong with a lot of the MotoGp watchers. Oh the races are boring. The season is boring. The riders are boring. For goodness sake. What do you want? Perhaps the days of the Roman Chariot races with knives on the wheels, the riders carrying chains to slash at it other. Or maybe like Mario Kart with the ability to drop oil slicks or bananas or whatever. I guess the fact that there are lots of crash videos around says a lot.
I thought this was one of the most interesting races of the season. Not because the series has come down to predominantly about 2 riders, but rather the challenges the teams are handling and how that is being reflected on the track. Am I biased, yes as I am on old racer in many formats, so find interest in these types of races. And yes I am biased towards MM93 because I have been watching MotoGp since the late 80s and excluding actual results, the most impressive talented riders for me of the modern era so far, as a rider, are firstly Stoner and Marquez . It is their pure adapability that sets them above their compatriots. I am also tending to now include Quartararo for determination. I also think Acosta could possible be the new Marquez level of talent, though this weekend he didn't shine. The only reason this Champiobship is coming down to the wire is that Martin is currently on the best cornering bike on the track at the moment. The way that Aprilia gets up off corners is staggering and a credit to the aero technology. Martin is unquestionably good, but a little unpredictable. Marquez is now past the point of being fully fit due to last years injury, but his determination and adaptability is extraordinary and why he is the best of the modern era, like him or not. Will he win this years championship? Honestly hard to say. That Aprilia with Martin is sensationally quick, as is Bez. Indonesia will probably go to Martin or Bez, but maybe the discovery of the Hard tyre for Ducati may change they way they deal with the next hot weather rounds. So for me, this is an exrtaordinarily interesting MotoGp season and boring has never entered my mind.

So its over... Marquez 🏆 and next year also

So when is the Aprilia check arriving as it sounds like you two are the PR desk for Aprilia.

David, is your door handle on upside down?

Did every rider actually rode the kart? Dont think i saw the VR46 guys for example

Doing it with 1 and half arm unreal. it looks easy when u win .  but u no what ur body is going through. this is why u r inspration to millions. legend.

All the other podcasts now have a bird on their panel, isn't it time that you ditched that old David dude for a bird, 😂
Only kidding David, you are the go to guy for the facts..... 👍😎

Agreed Bez is good but not on the same level. I’m cheering for Marc but if Jorge wins earnestly, I’m not upset. Don’t forget Martin is on his own comeback season after big injuries and drama with his factory, moving onto a new bike next year. Last time he won he was also already fired for the next season and here he is again. If Marc doesn’t win, I would love Martin to win and laugh at Aprillia for dropping him. Looking back, how funny are the Bez and Aprillia promo media’s like him marrying his bike and all the hype as of Bez was seriously going to destroy Marc 🤣

Casey almost always tried to make the hard work

Loser of the week has to be Nakagami. Gets one of the last WC rides we will see in the sport at his and his team's home GP. Doesn't even complete a lap in first practice before breaking his collarbone. Will now miss out on being able to continue racing as Mir's replacement.
