NEVER KEEP CRICKETS IN A VERY SMALL CONTAINER! They will eat each other and make "space" which is why you see dead crickets in those cheap pet store containers.
Hi, I'm not with Fluker's but I use this technique to make the crickets slower so it's easier for my crested gecko to catch and eat them. Normally they are pretty quick and jump around a lot. I just put them in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes (but I have left them even for about 20-25 minutes before and no adverse results). This will slow them down and once they warm up, they come back to life. The higher shelf in the fridge seems to be colder so I just put them in the middle or bottom.
I have the same question as Lora. Just how long is "long enough to make them go dormant". Are trying to sucker a bunch of people into killing their crickets?
Don't put more crickets in wirh your pet than they can eat at once. I have a Bearded Dragon that was knipped on the eye by a feeder cricket. It has been very annoying to treat. I only use Dubia Roaches now.
HOW LONG IS THAT?!
