Marie was a great example of "hilarious to watch; a nightmare to experience"

Fun fact about Doris Roberts (Marie) she attended acting classes with Marilyn Monroe.

Doris Roberts played her role so well...even though Marie plays the role of an obnoxious, intrusive, overbearing mother/mother in law, the writing and humor of this show is outstanding. RIP, Doris.

"I use to be a gentleman. " Frank
😂

A perfect portrayal of a mother-in-law who can’t let go! Phenomenal acting by the legendary Doris Roberts, (R.I.P.)!

Marie is normally a character that you would hate in real life but she turned out to be one of the best and most likable characters on the show, that’s because Doris played the part perfectly.

I love when Amy’s mother told her plainly and to her face that she was a narcissist. It was brilliant writing.

Frank always has Debra's back.

Marie: “Robbie, you scared me.”
Me: “Scared you? He looks like he’s about to kill you.”

😂😂😂😂😂😂MARIE IS A MASTER MANIPULATER 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

i know it's a comedy show but in real life,i'd never be able to put up with marie

Most meddling mothers:
-Sophia (Golden Girls)
-Sylvia (The Nanny)
-Marie (ELR)

Brad's face at Ray's after the FBI interview........BRILLIANT AND DAMN HILARIOUS  !!!! A very gifted actor and love the camaraderie with Deb, a great actress !!!!

Robert is by far the nicest Barone!!

Could you even imagine Marie and Frank raising those children? I was raised by grandparents. And as much as I dearly loved them, I wouldn’t recommended it. Especially Frank and Marie.

Frank is like a bloodhound where food is concerned.

"Comedy is tragedy plus time." This is why this show was/still is hilarious! 😂

Father Hubbly was always the voice of reason

Awwww Everyone Loves Raymond is pure comedy genius without a doubt.
