Summer Vacation 2026: A Ride to Fully Enjoy Fukushima Prefecture
Day 1: We explored the "Inaichi," a loop around Lake Inawashiro.

The Inaichi is approximately 60 kilometers.
This time, we started at "Michi-no-Eki Inawashiro" (Inawashiro Roadside Station), made a few detours, and rode clockwise, covering just under 70 kilometers.

It was wonderful to ride along the southern side, enjoying the lake view.

The Inaichi is mostly flat, but the latter half, particularly the Juhachichoyama mountain, is a hill climb, so be careful.

That day, it started raining heavily during the hill climb, and the brakes were practically useless on the downhill, which was terrifying.

I think the last time I rode in such heavy rain was on Hachijojima Island!

Will we both be able to complete the ride safely?
