Truth be told, that picture of John Candy is there sort of on purpose. As I mentioned in my community post last week, I've been running into some technical gremlins ever since I uploaded the last Apes video, which severely delayed this release. I started editing this video last week and only managed to finally finish it today.
When I was putting together the rough cut, I chose Welles as the final name in that sequence and left the image on screen a bit longer. My plan was to use a video clip of Candy, add a funny audio error effect, and then cut to the real Orson Welles to end that block with a joke.
However, since this was at the very beginning of the timeline, I completely forgot to finish the joke… 🤦♂ I do everything on this channel myself. In a 17 minute video with hundreds of visual and audio elements, after days of staring at the screen, sometimes a 4 second placeholder slips right through to the final render.
I am happy and proud to have such a sharp, highly qualified audience watching my videos. It’s brilliant, but it also means I have absolutely zero margin for error with you lot! 😬 I will definitely be more careful with these little details moving forward.
Thank you all for the comments and for holding me to a high standard. Please, keep the jokes coming, I take absolutely no offense. Cheers!
