It doesn’t matter how you feel about shoes in the house. I don’t wear shoes in my house. I think it’s gross. But if my landlord demands that a tenant not wear shoes in the house, he needs to reference that in the lease.

When you take on a tenant, you have to accommodate them. Take off your shoes in your section of the house but to demand your tenant do the same is ridiculous. It's no longer your house your rules. I believe him when he said to use 3 squares of toilet paper, it sounds like these landlords are anal.

I think they should have been awarded more. That was false advertising.  They thought they would move into an apartment with a nice deck and instead were in the middle of a 9 month construction project which benefited the property of the landlord but was just an inconvenience to the tenants. I think the defendant got off lightly. I wonder what Judge Judy would say. I think he would not have been treated so leniently by her. She might have given a similar payout but I think the defendant would definitely have received a tongue lashing for the devious false advertising.

Yup I do I use my grill in winter,I have to cook my steak ,hamburgers and hot dogs maybe some chicken. But ya alit of ppl grill in winter

It’s a simple courtesy, especially when asked, to take off your shows. It’s jerky to protest when you’re a guest. Like, how does it put you out in any way at all?
