This is Dimash’s own home studio, btw!

История про солдата из прошлого века, про его тоску по дому , и неизвесность, может и неизбежность гибели😮😢

Dimash always said because of the historical significance of the song, when all able bodied Kazakh men were forcibly conscripted into the Russian army leaving behind a population cast into famine and starvation, this has always been the most difficult song for him to sing on an emotional level. It's not one that he performs very often.
Another one you may enjoy for similar reasons is Qairan Elim. Written during COVID by his friend Renat Gaissan, the music video was actually co-directed by Dimash and he also got behind the camera and filmed parts of it, using as small a crew as possible because of the pandemic they all multi tasked and hauled all the equipment into the wilds of Kazakhstan by themselves using ATVs and Dinghies.

Thank you so much for reacting to this song. If someone asked me to describe Dimash with just one song, I would choose “Samaltau.”
And you are absolutely right to point out that here he is without a costume or a huge stage, yet he manages to convey all the power and pain of this song. And the musical accompaniment is simply beautiful.
Every time I hear this song, I feel like I’m transported to another time. He has this incredible ability to tell stories through his voice.
Thank you once again for choosing this song.

Thank you for another great reaction. My heart is crying.

Спасибо за реакцию! Удивительно,что не зная казахский язык, мы можем прочувствовать о чем поет Димаш. Он настоящий художник, великий артист!❤❤❤

Who do you know who can sing like this while sitting cross-legged like that?😊

😊

Música Kazaja con sus instrumentos espectacular que la conocimos por intermedio de Dimash❤

Todas las canciones de su patria son hermosas gracias x la reaccion ❤❤❤❤

Samaltau is one of my favorites from Dimash. Right from the start, the instruments take you on a journey to the mountains, the forest, the steppes. You can hear the sounds of the animals living there, the roar of the wind, the babbling of the stream, ahhh. that's enough!! I might reveal too much at the end... Wonderful performance!

Dimash receives instruments as gifts from fans all over the world. An exhibition has been set up in Kazakhstan where these items can be seen.

Please react to PASSIONE.

When #Dimash performed "Samaltau" in public for the first time in 2019, he said: https://youtu.be/1NkoFc-bQ_s?si=iV5uo4kVikbyU-GP
Quote: "This song is special to me because it contains all the sadness, all the suffering of the Kazakh people.
This piece is difficult for me to perform emotionally, not trchnically.
The power of this song lies in the fact that people who don't even speak my native language ,without understanding the words, immediately grasped what it was about.
For the audience in the stadium responded with thunderous applause after the song was performed.
That was when I realized how immense her power was! "

All the native instruments are setting the scene on the Great Steppes of Kazakhstan. The howl of the wolf is heard in the nomad village with the village dog barking in reply. Then you can hear the night birds’ cry , the rustle of the night wind through the steppe grasses and the trickle of a nearby stream.
What a beautiful way to transport the listener into the song.  ❤️

I love this song. It reaches down into my soul. And heart. Dimash has said this song is hard for him to sing because of all the emotions it evokes. 🎉❤🎉

great reaction! thanks!✨

Hola 👋 reaccionen a Omir mood, bella canción que estreno en su cumple 30 y dedicó a los dears❤

Probably Dimash’s favorite song too! He is very particular about this song and the history of his country!❤ absolutely beautiful!❤❤❤❤❤❤

The power! The emotion! The depth!! He doesn't have to hit high notes - even with a performance like this, I've never heard any singer who can match him

One of my favourites. Thank you ❤
