Fr. Dan Reehil Warns Christians What Happens When Fear Becomes Stronger Than Faith in Jesus Christ
LIVING THE WORD
1,963 views
Fear can become overwhelming when life feels uncertain, difficult, or out of control. In this powerful Catholic reflection, Fr. Dan Reehil explores what happens when fear becomes stronger than our faith in Jesus Christ. Reflecting on the Gospel of Peter walking across the water during a violent storm, he reminds us that Jesus does not always remove the storms from our lives, but He is always Lord over them. Peter was able to walk on the water while his eyes remained fixed on Christ, but when he focused on the waves, fear took control and he began to sink. The same can happen to us when we focus more on problems, anxiety, cultural confusion, financial worries, or our weaknesses than on Jesus. This message calls every Christian to trust Christ, step beyond the comfort zone, embrace courage, and remain faithful even in the middle of life's greatest storms.
