MaShaAllah. Bachpan ki yaadein. I remember when they started this shop and I started eating there with my class fellows in 1985. I was in 10th class, Crescent Model School.

Few days back you said that you’re going to have some changes in your blogs and visited Kamalia Khadder Store which I liked so much.
One proposal, please also share some good bakery/ bakeries and Sweet Shops also. Many decades ago, Shezan Restaurant and Shezan Bakery was a popular brand of Lahore, especially on Mall Road but no more in nowadays.
Whenever you visit Rawalpindi, please try Tehzeeb Bakery at various points and United Bakery at Supermarket Islamabad. Yes there are branches of Rahat Bakery of Lahore in Rawalpindi also.
Since my childhood, there was “Alig Bakery” in Peshawar, making famous Aligarh Biscuits, which had no mach in whole Pakistan. They also made Jelly Roll, Fruit Cake, Cream Buns and lightly whipped Fancy Cakes of Vanilla and Chocolate which were very delicious and popular. Due to their family problems, they are no more.

کیا بات ہے شاہ صاحب بچپن میں کتنا مزا آتا تھا انڈے والا برگر کھانے میں اور ابھی بھی جب بھی نوسٹیلاجیا میں چلے جاتے ہیں جب بھی انڈے والا برگر کھاتے ہیں زبردست شاہ صاحب اور ویسے شاہ صاحب آج شلوار قمیض میں اچھے لگ رہے ہیں ۔
