Honestly, they should’ve seen this coming. How often does a natural predator try to have a conversation with its prey and on top of that they didn’t go into it with the right mindset they should’ve been keeping as many lives and knowledge as possible but instead worried about convincing the Titans they should’ve just grabbed the fastest and somebody that could’ve deployed a distraction like a mist for them to get out of there without being targeted by either side

I just realized where I had heard this premise before! It's from No Game No Life Zero!! Remember how Umanity were outmatched by the other 16 sentient species (known as the Exceed or Ixseed) of the chess board and they had to pit the races against each other to be able to survive! Then in no game no Life God makes it so no one can kill each other and they have to outsmart each other through gambling!

well from the description of their 13 worlds it seems like the technologically advanced aliens are going to be the hardest to beat. now they're natural enemies should be God because I don't know I think at technologically advanced species is going to all of a sudden start kneeling before a magical God. the nature natural enemy and curse natural enemy will seem like they will cancel each other out. honestly the vast majority of these enemies don't seem like they're going to have a reason to fight and kill each other except for those four.
