We witness a couple of hours of heavy duty action on the LIRR Mainline. Hollis is a recently renovated station on the busy 4 track main east of Jamaica.  You’ll see a lot of MU and diesel trains. M3/M7/M9 MU’s will be seen along with DE and DM locomotives. You will also see the 250th painted #521. Sauerkraut and the Flying Yankee also provided much entertainment.

Sweet Off Peak & PM Peak catches of Long Island Railroad’s Bilevel trains on Long Island Railroad’s Main Line. Love with what they’ve done with the station.

I was actually at Hollis station not too long ago when it was updated. Caught some diesels myself. Glad to see it becoming a 8 car platform and ADA Compliant

FINALLY. About time this station got an overhaul, was easily the most neglected in the entire system when I visited back in '21.

Wow, Tim, you seem to know every train at every station. You stand at rail fanning, whatever number it is and where it's going from and to you are an expert you're exceptional in terms of those things about Long Island railroad and metro north

Try to make your way up to the hudson line again soon, Genesis engines are making a loud and proud last hoorah and its been less of a charger invasion the past few weeks, more heritage units out and about too
