Dry Bowser could throw bones. Effectively making him the version of Bowser from the first game that threw hammers.

If Mario Maker 3 ever gets announced I could definitely see Nintendo adding these boss battles in the game

Petey Piranha should probably fly around spitting paint. The way you damage him is by lowering him into landing on the paint so that he slips and falls, allowing you to jump on him.

Perhaps a Wiggler boss battle could work like it does in M&L, with it starting red, and you have to hit all 4 (or however many the player chooses) body segments to hit the head. If you hit the head before all segments turn yellow, he turns them all red, and hitting a red segment turns him yellow. Hit him 3 times to win.

I could see quite a number of these boss characters working in Super Mario Maker. I feel like they’d restrict it to some of the more notable ones like Birdo and Petey, but there’s a lot of ideas here that could work.

I don’t quite understand the logic of “we have to dumb down Mario 2 bosses, so no eggs for Birdo”, though. She’d definitely have to be changed to jump on her being viable, but every game style aside from 1 has throwing as a mechanic. Just have players need the Mario 2 mushroom in the OG style if they wanna have the fight be authentic. And in the rest, you just jump on the eggs and then pick them up to throw them back.

I would love a Wario boss fight in a 3d Mario game where it’s in a boxing Arena and Wario has boxing gloves, and he would make his fight tough I bet, and maybe he wears a backpack thingy in the fight, and after a certain phase, the backpack thing sprouts arms with boxing gloves, making Wario more dangerous

12:25 i think they should add the mega mushroom so you can make mario AND any enemy gigantic
i could also see some of these bosses being exclusive to one game style since some of them probably wouldn't fit in any of the others

For bosses that are derived from normal enemies, it might be best to make it so you apply a Mega Mushroom or Crown to a normal enemy make it giant or king.

1:15 You got these 2 backwards. Hiyoi-Hoi (HEE-yoi-hoi)is the Moai guy, and Dragon-zamasu is the seahorse. And you left out Biokinton the cloud. That could’ve been the 50th boss you were missing so 20:49 you wouldn’t need to take only 1 from Odyssey. Or maybe even another one from Mario Party 9.
