7:56 yeah it's a bit of a shocker for most people who have never played this game but this game is equal parts comedic and horrifying if you dig deeper beyond just the stuff you're doing in game. By the time you actually finish the 89th mission or the final mission in 5 the human population has been wiped down to just 10% of what it started with. In that final mission on 5 it was so desperate to the point that we had to just start giving civilians guns and just throw them out there like meat shields for your team because you are basically the only ones capable of actually doing anything. But that's the problem when you're the only ones who are doing anything you can't be everywhere at once. So anywhere where storm team is not is just getting wiped.

I like that solely VTubers react to Badger, idk why it fits so well

aliens have invaded: pulls out giant mechs and unstable people

Welcome to the cult of RUSSIANBADGER you are now legally required to watch his Payday 2 vids starting with “Getting Choke Slammed For Money”

28k mocop suit goes brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

THIS VTUBER WILL MAKE A FINE ADDITION TO MY COLLECTION!

This is part of a series of games; this is not the first time the Ravagers have tried to destroy humanity, and it wont be the last. This one had the largest expendature on the Ravager's part because they sent ten Motherships instead of one like all the previous attempts. This time around we had pretty good planetary defenses which managed to destroy nine of them before they fell, so you still only face one in-game. Still, the vastly greater expendature of forces is proof that the invasion is not about Earth's resource value anymore and the Ravagers want us dead out of spite.

10:10 Fun Fact: Badger had to edit this video because Wing Diver was originally a hawt anime woman that looked like she would fit right in with the Taimanin

Thanks for the reaction video today and have a good weekend 👍🤍

10:30 No, wingdivers don't look like schoolgirls in the game. They're wearing high tech metal bikinis and miniskirts, and Badger actually used their in-game model for this video at first, but YouTube struck the video down, so he redid all of these mocap sequences of wingdivers using a different model (generic schoolgirl).

God I do love people finding out about the EDF games
As somebody who's played the entirety of both EDF 5 and EDF 6, it honestly just keeps getting wilder, Badger didn't really talk too much about the story here, but it is WILD beyond belief
The story is so nonsensical it loops back around to being both funny and somewhat understandable somehow, and that's just EDF 5
Don't get me started on EDF 6, that is some actual magic, and I do not know what sorta stuff they were taking when they made that. But I need it. Like you think killing God was the end? Nuh uh brother, that was just the start of the craziness.

And also, despite the absurd story, the EDF games are actually pretty good fun if you don't mind a little bit of grinding (Plus, there are a few levels that you can turbo-cheese in both games on the high difficulties to get the absurd stuff)
I played them both 100% single player only, and had the time of my life
But yeah, EDF 5 & 6, great games, wild story, and actually surprisingly fun in my opinion
10/10 Would experience that again

P.S. Air-Raider is absolute magic and nukes and just keeps getting better with each game, especially with EDF 6's drones, absolute magic

P.P.S. Also as a heads up, 4.1 is separate from 5 & 6. 5 is like a soft reboot, and 6 is the continuation from 5, if you play 6 without playing 5 you will somehow be even more confused. For reference badger was playing EDF 4.1 for this video!
P.P.P.S. EDF: Iron Rain is their attempt at a more Western Audience themed game, and it's pretty good too.
P.P.P.P.S. if you do decide to play you can turn off screenshake in the menu, gets really helpful during later missions so that your screen isn't constantly shaking all the time

This was also my very first TheRussianBadger video I've ever watched. I've been watching his channel ever since. 😊

This game is stupid fun and it can be stupid hard, if you're like me and refuse to play anything other than Ranger whose only mobility option is a roll, so you better have a weapon with at least 50 round magazine.

Oh get she reallly reallly picked a hectic and crazy vod to introduce herself to the gremlin that is Russian badger. I would recommend his payday 2 or left for dead 2 vod for a starter pack to him. Some of his vods are more chaos coded than others can be overwhelming with his editing style

0:33 And she has the gall to say this while the screen is full of GIANT WASPS x)

This is EDF 4.1 - The Shadow of New Despair.
The sequels 5 and 6 actually got better and better on the single-player balance of stuff, but EDF 4.1 has a separate universe/canon to 5 and 6 which are meant to be 1 universe.

Edf is a great series. Like budget helldivers. They are stupid and so much fun.

Lol he's right, the final boss on earth is literally the U.S.A. 😂

as a wing diver main we're on par with the fencer in firepower

People really think Helldivers 1 came out before EDF?
