I hope Byrne makes "good trouble."

Now that’s an October surprise I can support!! Nice.

Byrne is a big bicycle advocate. That’s cool.

Thank you David for decades of great music, talent and standing up for what’s right ❤

Talking head vs Babbling Ass.

David wins.

Byrne is an actual genius.

David Byrn has always brought his politics onto his stage. I seen him in Dayton Ohio a few years back and he names every black person unalived by the police.  He literally preached it loudly and clearly his views about it. It was around when the cop put his knee on a black persons neck until he was no longer.   Thats why I have always been a fan.

"The bleeding hearts and artists make their stand..." Roger Waters has been sounding the alarm for decades.
It is time...time for all to take a side.
If u believe u are a "fence sitter"...you are actually enabling the maniacs. We are either for them or against them.
The artists have the loudest voice, and the more noble the artist the more effecting the message.
Start SCREAMING!!
On ya David...always love u

Who is the Sky? The first show I had been to since Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros at The Warehouse in November 1999. I had not seen Byrne since I was a young teenager. Talking Heads, with their expanded lineup, stole the show (even after following Elvis Costello who won over the audience and got at least three encores) at Heatwave in 1980. After playing one of their new tunes from Remain in Light, David informed the massive crowd:"We're a different kind of band now". Byrne's latest show was optimistic but not in the usual head-in-the-ground way. It was simply an antidote to MAGA and DJT. Neither were mentioned but while his band was playing Life During Wartime, images that displayed the atrocities of ICE were on the surrounding screen. It was perfect.  Sadly , I saw very few young people there. But, I may try another. In fact I have. Just last weekend, I bought tickets to Bruce Cockburn, at the same venue, Massey Hall, in October. I'm wondering where the lions are no longer. Edit, btw I subbed to this channel immediately.

I just subbed had this came up in my feed.Been Talking Heads fan since i was 17 and still love them.Thank you for what you do.But may fav bands are also Talk Talk and The Beta Band.

i would never go see a MUSKY movie   I would throw up. just like i would never buy a Tesla. want to see musk behind bars and he will be.

Jarvis Cocker and Pulp did this years ago with the song "Common People."

"Mr Jones, put a wiggle in your stride.
...loosen up, I believe we'll be alright..."
❤🎉

'the great curve' is well-rounded 🎸🎵

It is NOT that any of his age are getting older, it is that we have lived through Vietnam forward and we thought better minds were in control of the world war stage. David is doing what many of us on a small stage are doing. He is lucky to have a huge stage to protest this insanity.

It's officially set to release in the USA towards the end of Oct 2026.
