Martin Lawrence and Bill Bellamy: Unfiltered on Def Comedy Jam
LOL Network Stand-Up!
Before Martin. Before Bad Boys. Before Martin Lawrence became one of the defining comedic voices of the 90s — he was right here hosting Def Comedy Jam and reminding everyone exactly why he belonged at the top.
Martin opens by settling a very old debt with his mother, giving a ghetto white boy the gas face, and breaking down exactly why he hasn't called home in 8 years. Bill Bellamy closes the show with the most thorough legal analysis of the Mike Tyson case you'll ever hear — booty call protocol, rolodex strategy, ugly girlfriends who always show up uninvited, and the best sex you'll never forget. Kenny Howell breaks down the STR to SK language barrier in Chicago's projects, toes that look like knuckles, and a chicken-flavored solution nobody asked for but everyone needed. J'vonne Pearson comes out of San Francisco with a gay newscast nobody saw coming. George Willborn is still personally furious about Mike Tyson being in jail and needs everyone to understand why. Russell Simmons closes the show.
This is Russell Simmons' Def Comedy Jam on LOL Network Stand-Up. New episodes every Monday and Wednesday.
