On the way I stopped at a local furniture and home decoration market and explained how sourcing actually works in China — you don't start by hunting for a factory, you start by finding the city that's known for what you want. That one habit saves months.
The rental was a BYD Qin Plus, so I also got into China's EV market: the brands, the prices, and why they're so much cheaper than people expect.
And because the seafood place wasn't open yet and I was starving, we ate beef salad at a halal noodle spot first. Worth it.
