the fact that the best songs are hidden and are probably never gonna be heard by the general public cuz the promoted singles turned people away from the album hurts me💔

i miss when title tracks in kpop reflected the rest of the project....also iffy iffy soty

y'all don't know how hard it was not having choujimi on the front lines when this album was released 😔😔😔

this is one of those albums where i feel it's important to listen to it in it's entirely, because anyone who's judging this release off the title tracks alone are honestly missing out.  the b-sides all help to further emphathize the message of the album.  iffy iffy, i need your company, and trust excercise are all up there standing amongst le sserafim's best b-sides.

Thanks for treating the girls and their work with the respect they deserve :)

IF THERES 1 LESSARAFIM'S CONCEPT DEFENDER I AM DEAD
IF THERES 0 LESSARAFIMS CONCEPT DEFENDER COUJIMI IS ALSO DEAD 💯💯💯💯💯💯

‘need your company’ was written by yunjin with the members, though in particular chaewon, in mind!

My fondness for Boompala is in large part due to the fact it came out right as my Asian Philosophy class (which ended on Buddhism) concluded. So I spent the entire song excited about how much the lyrics reference the concepts I had just finished writing about! And tbh I just really like Celebration as a song! Not a popular opinion but that's not my problem lol (Need the next release to be better tho)

Great review! IMO the best part of this album was definitely the lyrics! It really matches what the girls have gone through along their careers and shows their development as people. This album had great lyrical depth.

Saki (ft. Aliyah’s Interlude) and Trust Exercise have been on REPEAT in my household, and the fact that there has been barely NO promotions for them (especially with Saki as that has a feature) is CRIMINAL 😭

OH SORRY FOR COMMENTING SO MANY TIMES BUT I JUST WANTED TO MENTION THE SHORT FILM
before celebration lsf released this short film where main character kazuha was fighting monsters but the monsters weren't physical and the members kept trying to help her to win. It's genuinely beautiful and kinda poignant imo. Maybe It was just very relatable to me but I do feel that the short film provided more context and expanded the concept and this narrative shift from "I'm fearless" to "I'm powerful"

A friend of mine told me this but I love that Pureflow is an anagram for Powerful. Things like this makes me love this group even more

As an album, I genuinely enjoyed it much more than the singles because it conveyed its message better together.  One of my favorite songs is "Need your Company" because it's so vulnerable, open, and drastically fits the group because of all that they've been through.  It sucked that it wasn't as long as the rest of the songs because it deserves its flowers.

Also while Saki made me notably salty at first, I've slowly learned to love it. 😅

Ah choupala choupala choupala yeah

11:30 SONDER being compared to "i might say something stupid" might literally be the best connection uve ever made...

sonder was literally my fave song when i heard the album first... slowly and surely my fave became irony or saki perchance

I’m so resentful of celebration because I like how it sounds… but it’s so short it ends up going absolutely no where. The whole song feels the same. The pre chorus, the chorus, the bridge are all the same! That’s insane! For such a short song no less! The dance break is criminal, it needed to loop 1 time at the very least! Obviously I reject the label of hybe stan or any company stan for that matter but I do find myself enjoying many groups from hybe, but lately, the groups I follow from them have been getting these 2minute songs and now I dread every comeback more than anticipate it. I’m sick so sick of 2 minute songs…. I hope celebration flopping will wake something up in hybe and source music cause they had the ingredients but decided to cut everything in half in hopes to have a tiktok hit. Le sserafim has always been a group where I liked the bsides a lot more than the title tracks, and I would be ok with that cause I still liked the title tracks and because their good bsides would always go viral and be promoted eventually, but with pure flow they really dropped the ball… both by not promoting their best bsides but also by having a huge quality gap between the promoted songs and non promoted ones… I’m sad, I need source music and hybe to do better for the girls. I want them to win so bad, I’m sick of this endless hate train and I hope the next era is handled a lot better by the higher ups.

Between my first listen all the way through and my second, as I was bombarded with people saying this album was atrocious, I thought I had to be crazy, or I just have terrible taste. With subsequent listens, I've realized no- I genuinely think this is a good album, and I need to care less about what other people think. I have my own criticisms of the singles, but these b sides matter to me in ways not a lot of kpop does. I've been told it's an objectively bad album, and I just don't think that's true. Reading the lyrics to Need Your Company genuinely made me cry because of how it spoke to parts of my own personal life. I have a notebook of quotes, and it's filled with lyrics from this album now. I love this album, and I don't care if I get judged for it.

>just listened to whole pureflow album before going to bed last night.
>Woke up with new found rage at hybe.
>Going to bed watching choujimi video on pureflow.

Need your company glaze = liked video

hybe really frustrates me they only know to promote the singles and when the general public doesnt like the singles THEY JUST KEEP PUSHING THE SINGLES FURTHER like people already dont like those songs and you have some amazing songs waiting on the album just promote those????????
