That big demon at the end of the first song is actually satan. Satan and lucifer are two separate characters in this universe

The difference between Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss is that Hazbin Hotel is more of about the politics of Sinners and Angels while Helluva Boss is the politics of Hell Born Demons

If you want more Stolas songs (the tall owl guy), then you should do "When I see Him Tonight", and "Stolas Sings"

Id recommend "moxxies bad trip" and "when i see him tonight" both songs explains blitz side of the story more

16:46 “He deserves love.”

Oh,  💔, you have no idea yet just how correct you are.

I would highly recommend you watch the whole series in order.  It sounds like something you'd absolutely LOVE.

Stolas is a very tragic and lonely character. Majestic indeed and melancholic. Poor guy is in a constant state of sadness and barely holding on and you just feel for him. You'll love all his songs if you love his voice. Bryce Pinkham is simply amazing. He puts his whole heart and emotions in this character. He IS Stolas. All the VAs of Helluva Boss embrace the characters they play.

"All 2 U" is Stolas' (tall owl bird) heartbreaking realization that after confessing his love to the red imp (Blitz), it was seen as fake and superficial. "Just Look My Way" is about what the relationship could be if Stolas frees Blitz from their contract. "Mastermind" is putting Blitz on trial as a lesser being using magic to access the human world, and Stolas is taking the fall.

I love both shows but I definitely love Helluva Boss more because it has so much more character development and emotional moments.

You should definitely react to "When I See Him" next

Btw don't worry - I'm positive that by the end of the series those two will get their happily ever after

15:30 GENUINELY THE OPPOSITE LMAO- I almost gagged on my water LOL

won't get SUPER into it but basically yes, stolas (bird dude) and blitz (the imp character you see in the videos) are love interests.

They both suck at communication to varying degrees and for different reasons and who's "more at fault" depends on who you ask. The only thing I'll say specifically about their relationship since you find this out in episode ONE (if even that is too much of a spoiler for you though, then do not read past this point)

is that their relationship is initiated as a transaction "I'll let you do _ if you do absolutely filthy things to me"

I didn't see anybody talk about it so I will, Look My Way was originally a fan song made by Paranoid DJ (posted on ytb) in 2021. years later Viv liked it so much that she contacted Paranoid DJ and made the song canon while rewriting it a bit to fit more with current Stolas

Here are my Helluva Boss song recommendations:
- When I See Him Tonight
- I Will Be Okay (not "You Will Be Okay" which you've already seen)
- House of Asmodeus
- Crooked
- 2 Minutes Notice
- Stolas Sings

18:11 PLEASE pay attention to the lyrics, because Stolas basically says "Why won't you look my way? Am I the problem? If so, I'll grant you your wish of being disconnected from me." right before the bind snaps.

WHEN. I. SEE. HIM. !

13:45 In general, I honestly don't know, but for "Look My Way" in particular, it was originally a fan-made song that was made canon by the show's creator (after slightly changing a few lyrics, with the help of the original artist, to account for character growth that had happened since the song was first made)

The reason you aren't hearing that much about Helluva Boss is because of the timing. Hazbin hotel season 2 came out recently while Helluva boss has been in between seasons for a couple of months now

Also Bryce was such a good actor to pick for Stolas. Viv wanted him especially and ugh his voice just makes Stolas that much more ethereal. I listen to him when I want comfort.
Helluva Boss only half-way functions as a musical as in there are music and some musical-esque performances. But most music are in a situation where it makes sense. Like on a radio or a performance or Stolas lamenting cus he's dramatic like that. Which is also why a lot of the songs are him. He sings to express himself and deal with his feelings so he got a lot of songs.

Hazbin Hotel is a Broadway style musical, Helluva Boss is more of a movie musical due to its variety of genres the songs go through.
