Two of my all-time favorite people, Dick Van Dyke and Julie Andrews.

I watched Mary Poppins last night for Dick Van Dyke's 100th birthday, and how about the fact that Dick Van Dyke and Christopher Plummer had the same birthday? I watched The Sound of Music the night before because it was also halfway to Christmas.

What can I say. My deepest respect for that man. He demonstrates as best what a positive mindset can cause. A 100th birthday. Wow.
Thanks for everything Dick. You are fantastic

Dick Van Dyke should have been nominated for an Academy Award and his talent in Mary Poppins proves he deserved an Academy Award; one of the best performances in Cinematic history!!!

One of my top 5 movies. Love Dick Van Dyke, in his tv shows and every movie!! The fact that he said he’d never make a movie his kids couldn’t see speaks volumes about his character. Lovely man!

I've heard that Dick Van Dykes Cockney accent wasn't great but that just adds to the movie, i think a proper one would not work as well.

its probably crazy DVD outlived those 2 children

Wonderful time of Mr.Bert as Dick Van Dykes and Mary Poppins as Julie Andrews to celebrate and appreciate on the great Birthday .Wish Mr.Bert and Marry Poppins, Have the great  time of happiness, healthy and jolly heart in everyway.❤😊🎉with millions love*(from ja)😊❤🎉🎉🎉🎉

This is a great PBS documentary on Dick Van Dyke!

The most wholesome feature film ever produced? I happen to think so. Dick's much maligned cockney accent is part of its endearing charm. The childrens innocence, the wonderful songs. The brilliant casting. And Julie Andrews!!!! No other performer could replicate her portrayal. I make a point of watching it every Christmas. Walt Disney apparently loved most of all Feed the birds.  He requested the Sherman brothers play it for him when they reunited.  Dick van dyke is a showman of the highest calibre. He's warm, relatable and Hollywood's finest.

Matthew Garber (Michael Banks) died much too young. He was only 21 in 1977 when he died from pancreatitis. Rest in heaven, buddy. 😔

I ❤ Dick Van Dyke is very much still alive loved it this great.

Dick Van Dyke stands out as a very charming entertainer. Extremely funny and multi-talented. A lot of fun to watch.

It blows my mind that this movie is 62 years old! And it has been enjoyed and beloved by so many different generations across this time span! Dick, Julie, and Karen are all legends.

Thats so great that nobody told the children that the old man of the bank was also played by dick. I remember when i saw it on vhs tape by then, i had to rewind it and watch that part again because as a child i also didnt believe dick van dyke had played that part of the giant of the bank! Im glad he did because the next time i watched it i wasnt as afraid of him and i studyed him much more...but it was great he played so many parts in the movie.

Almost 57yrs old n I  still watch this regularly best film ever made ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤XXXXXXXX

I ❤ Karen Dotrice is very much still alive loved it this great.

Julie Andrews might be the oldest living leading man and lady, a combined age of 190 years between them! Lots of memories and what lives they've had so far!

And we still HAVE THEM!  Rare ❤

1:59 And the last time you see him at the end, he sells kites!
