yes sir   I found my 914 abandoned on a street in Chicago.   I took it home, restored it, and love it 20 years later.

Aaron you are definitely keep Grandpa alive by keeping this car going. This is what it's all about.

Floored. You guys are such great storytellers, that was SO WELL done. Thank you.

OK, I teared up! Who else?

Top notch photography

Lovely story. Yet to own a 914 but has long been a dream ride. The perfect mash of man and mechanics - all that the driving experience should be. Your grandfather would be proud.

I've always believed that the story of a car is as important as the car itself.  Well done, thank you.

What an awesome tribute to your grandfather ,👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Really wish you both would start making content again. You are very much missed.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story! Well done, Aaron!

Dang. Start a petrolicious style channel and I will follow.

Thanks for sharing!

From Denmark: Beautiful little story about your granddad, a nice car and you 😊

Awesome! And yes, it is not always all about speed only.

More video in winter .

I literally thought I was watching a Petrolicious video until your logo came up! Nicely done.

Well done, well done indeed. My parents drove our good family friend's Porsche 914 from Victoria, to Grande Prairie Alberta. It was not the road trip they expected. It was winter. It was cold, under powered for the Rockies and Mum was just glad to get this favour done and get home. lol She loved road trips just not in this car. It did break down once but Dad was able to get it going again. He was in his glory. The car looked exactly like Aaron's. Brought back memories for me as well. Really well done. :D

Good to see he keeps the Grandfathers' Dream Alive!!
Someday my grandchildren will inherit my '91 Carat.

Great story! Your grandfather would be very proud of you. Glad to see another one of these wonderful cars staying in the road.
