Such a shame about the Mall. It used to be THE place to be in the 80s and early 90s. You almost want to cry every time you go in it now.  So many memories. 😢

I love this place. I must visit. That tiled hallway is so good. Loved watching!

I remember KB toys when you walked in straight in front as you walk in the door

i love the look of the food court. looks like a small town

I used to live about 30 mins from this mall as a kid and just about every Friday night in the late 80's we went to walk the mall, shop, and roller skate.  The highlights for me were always the Timeout arcade, which was in the same spot as the current arcade by the theater, the pet store, KB Toys, the record store, the poster store, and pizza and Coke upstairs at Skate 81.  Oh the memories!

As a small business owner in the area. I've thought many times to open up a store in that mall but the lack of people always holds me back.

It breaks my heart to see this. I made so many friends when I worked at Interskate 90. Lost touch with them when they closed the rink. I prayed that they would open it up, and I could skate on that floor just one more time. I guess that will remain just a dream.

This mall was awesome in the early to mid 2000's

it's interesting to me how a lot of malls were started from outdoor shopping centers, and now this mall is possibly going to be turned into an outdoor shopping center. they've come full circle

I am a mall walker here. I love the vibe. In the a.m. there are quite a few regular walkers. I'm always amazed at how many folks still come just to hang out. The fountains are turned on once in a while for short periods.

A lot of  good memories going to the Fingsrlakes Mall with my friends in the late 80s and early 90s.

anyone else detest the passage of time? 😢

2:13 Marjax was here, bought my first catchers mitt there somewhere around 1986/87

Seen Scream 1 in that movie theater back in 96

The upper loop around the food court used to have a roller skating rink

There used to be a Friendly's restaurant on the edge of the food court IIRC

That food court is AMAZING!

That food court is too neat with the facades and lamps!

My parents used to take us here to shop at sears in the early 90s. I still occasionally go to visit the bass pro. The fountains are turned on but only on occasion, thats probably why they have water in them

My wife spent her teen years there; now we only go once in a great while to see the boats
