Ahead of our celebrations of the great John Surtees at Goodwood, we visited the museum that would be bringing the legend's 1964 championship-winning Ferrari to FOS and Goodwood Revival. However, despite having this incredible piece of motorsport history, it isn't what they are known for. The Barber Motorsports Museum has the most incredible motorcycle collection you will ever see.

So, join us as we speak to members of the team and tour the incredible facilities.

I live about 10 minute away and can hear the cars on any race day. What a blessing to have nearby. Thank you and rest in peace.

Amazing museum right here in Sweet Home Alabama! Everytime we visit we always find something new. The best.

This facility is literally my favorite place on earth. We raced the Vintage Festival put on by AHRMA in 2022. The combination of AHRMA and Barber is unbeatable.

I had the pleasure to see this collection while on a “brand immersion” trip with Mercedes-Benz. We had a private viewing and also got taken into the basement to see all the things being restored. Such an awesome place! Would like to go back again someday

It's a wonderful place; we were there to auction off our Vincent Black Lightning. We were thrilled and thank Mr. Barber for such a great place. We'd love to come back again this year, because thankfully, Americans are Americans! Think big!

Rest in peace, Mr. Barber. A true legend of motorsports. I visited Barber’s museum for the first time in 2018, and again last year for the MotoAmerica round. The place is a sight to behold. I don’t know what changes were made between my first and second visit, but the place felt like it changed… not in a bad way. Like I got to visit 2 different museums. I don’t know if the collection changed all that much, or if the change was in my perspective, but both times I left there feeling lucky. I felt joy, just like Mr. Barber wanted for all his visitors.

Brian was the Norton representative for the USA. He had a repair shop in San Juan Capistrano. I bought stuff there and had service done there. He had a street licensed Manx with lights and stuff.

Wow! What a well spent 30 minutes. I started riding sport bikes ~1 year ago and heard about the Barber race track for the first time just a few months ago but I never knew about this museum, what an incredible place! I will definitely go there as soon as I can. Learning about John Surtees all in the same video made it that much better.

Did a 2 day Porsche Driving Experience at Barber, and we went to that museum at the end of the 2nd day. It’s really worth seeing.

7:07 Buell Motorcycles is still in business! They're still building motorcycles based on the 1190cc V-twin engine platform, are introducing some new models including a Cruiser and Sport-Tourer, and they're expanding the servicing dealer network.

They are at Daytona Bike Week right now heavily promoting their new SuperCruiser model and showing many custom units, including a VERY high performance unit they're developing called "Project Leviathan" that has a turbo installed and is fully operational, producing over 401 HP & 215 FtLbs torque! 🤯

Erik is not involved, but the new brand owner for the past several years, Bill Melvin, does seem to have what it takes to make it work. Time will tell... 🤞

RIP George Barber Jr. This excellent video was very educational for me. I've not travelled to the USA and am unlikely to ever do so, given the things I've said about a certain orange bloke on social media. So I didn't know about the wonderful motor museum in Birmingham, Alabama. Given what a passionate man Mr Barber seemed to be, I'm guessing his museum has been saved for the long term, even after Mr Barber's passing. He seemed like the sort of man who would have ensured that his museum would be saved for the long term, because it was the right thing to do, and he was an organised, dedicated man who was heavily into his collection. I'm very thankful for people like George Barber.
