It could be argued that the DB Cosmology doesn't exactly follow classical logic, I know it sounds dumb but hear me out,

The RPG guidebooks explicitly states that the DB cosmos is distinctly rooted in the confucian worldview and classical Asian myths which would also include Mahayana Buddhism and Daoism.

One of these worldviews If I remember correctly teaches the concept of sunyata where everything is "empty" of an inherent independent existence meaning that all of reality is Interconnected as a whole. Something related to non-duality. Basically paradoxical logic.

The same Guidebook also explicitly states that Otherworld is a Metaphysical reality disconnected from ours on the most Metaphysical and it exists in a state of spiritual perfection or enlightennent. It is disconnected from the Metaphysics of the physical reality which would include the abstract notions of space and time and since there is eastern metaphysics, we could include duality meaning that Otherworld is not bound by duality, it can exist in a state where it is bound to space-time while simultaneously being unbound by them, it's still beyond the very concept of space-time. It's a difficult concept to grasp as we are used to the law of non-contradiction but a way to understand it is that non-duality is basically not constrained by rigid binary logic, it exists beyond what is bound and unbound, both things are just two sides of the same coin.

The timelines are indeed parallel worlds but people are still gonna keep arguing that it's still bound by dimensionality and if people try to use this argument, introduce them to Metaphysical causation.
