Im sorry but the cut from the boys singing and laughing to Garrick having the worst time in his life is so funny to me.

Zach, miles and Eric all singing the opening bit of the movie then the pan to Garrick whose just sat there completely stone faced looking utterly disgusted made me audibly laugh out loud (39:06)

This is by far the most chaotic, unapologetically unorganized and HYSTERICAL episode of Guilty Pleasures we have ever seen.

eric is pure chaos, especially when he's passionate about the movie he's talking about, i love him

If it helps, PT Barnum as a historical figure  is in the public domain so his estate did not make any money directly from this film. You can make the sequel and say anything you want about him.

whenever garrick hates the movie, you know it’s gonna be a fun episode

I always think it would have been so much better if they didn't call him PT Barnum and just pretended it was fictional

The way I screamed when I saw Eric in the thumbnail. His commentary track on this movie with Miles is seriously one of my favourite pieces of media ever

EDIT: THE SHOWMAN HATS OH MY GOD
EDIT: Garrick is descending into insanity throughout this podcast and I get it

This movie is the definition of a guilty pleasure for me. I hate that it’s so fun to watch. I researched pt Barnum while watching it and spent the whole movie hating myself for watching it, but the music, the cast and the vibes really did it for me. I agree with Eric in that I have no idea why they made it a Barnum “”””””biopic”””””” since it would be 100% more fun if it was just about a poor guy who had big dreams and ended up creating the circus.
TL;DR p.t. Barnum sucks but this movie is a bop

OH MY GOD YES FINALLY MILES BROUGHT ERIC TO WORK!!!!!

I’m I the only one who has been making uncomfortably intense eye contact with cutout Eugene every time it cuts to miles

40:43 it's always a jumpscare when Ned is mentioned by any of the try guys in the video, because I've only recently started watching the podcast, and so I had to stop to see when this came out to process why they would be talking about him

Miles Nation has been waiting patiently for this crossover 🙌🏾

GO TIGERS!! 🐯🐯🐯

"Trying to solve racism with vibes" killed me dead 😂❤

So when i first saw the movie, i also just loved it for the soundtrack and *vibes*, had no clue abt the history as an european person. BUT recently i worked with a kid with disabilities, who loved it for its "representation" of people with disabilities, the little tiny "powerful" moment they get in This is me, simply because she hasnt seen people with disabilities in any other movie. It got me thinking that we really need to do better with showing people with disabilities on screen in a positive, joyous light. This movie means so much to her and the messaging isnt even good, there is the barest minimum of acceptance of disabled people, and it still means so much. Imagine what a well written movie showing actual joy of disabled people could mean for these kids.

The real-life little person in Barnum's circus, Charles Stratton, started tours with Barnum when he was 5😬Apparently Barnum stated he was 11 for the shock factor and it's said Charles was drinking and smoking at age 7 for the audience. It's not the worst thing Barnum's done but it really disgusted me

The camera angle for Miles is giving That 70’s Show basement

This movie is so problematic and sugar coats a cruel reality in which people of colour and disabled people were abused and taken advantage of by a money hungry greedy man

I was in tears at Zach talking about how the song could start at any location and it would end back up at the circus by the end of it 😂😂😂

Even though the podcast is canceled I still go back and watch the episodes. This though is my absolute favourite so fricken funny
