I live in the Bay Area and used to pop down to LA a few times a year. Then COVID struck and that went away. My hairdresser in LA told me (he works two weeks LA, two NYC) that he would service clients in those high glass NYC towers. He said the building swayed, especially in high winds, and it could be disturbing.

These women are more than a little out of touch with "the middle" of the USA and do not realize their absolute privilege. They are criticizing Trump and Musk while heavily implying that Hillary Clinton is "misunderstood" (A woman that totally looked the other way while her husband was an absolute predator). Who do they think was running the country during Biden's admin?!?!?
Also, the whole "I had to leave my young baby to go interview sex workers." I get it, I'm a woman that had a thriving career (BTW I was a chef for the ultra rich and owned a catering co) before giving it all up to have kids in my 40s but its not noble AND it reveals her privilege that she COULD leave. yes, these women are discussing ppl that have more than they do but they have FAR more than most in the USA (which is already if not the best country in the world but at least in the top 3) and only understand the coasts. There is WAY more in the USA besides LA/CA and NY. Ppl living on the "coasts" can be super snobby and opinionated about ppl that dont live in their "world."
