You forgot my attempt yesterday.

RAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUULL FLOOOOOOOOOOOOORESSSSS 511 KG

Haffthor was "nattier" than usual at the enhanced games 😂

There is a reason why more then 5 men pulled 500 kg sumo but only 2 pulled it classic

Raul Flores attempted 500 after he got the the Latin America record last year

I should attempt it today just to get in a video

Colton gets plenty of ROM on his sumo form, it doesn't feel like he's bending the rules as much as some of the other guys. And the grip strength of all the powerlifting guys is mind-blowing.

Sumo vs conventional is one thing but what really bugs me is the guys whose straps are so long that they couldn't even pretend to wrap there fingers around the bar. That's just an elevated deadlift.

19:52 did't saw this comming 🔥🔥🔥🔥crazy man 💀

Poor ivan makarov😂

The ease that Colton picked 520 up with is crazy. I wouldn't be shocked if he could actually do 530 if he doesn't have a whole powerlifting meet before it and hit 500kg twice all in the same day. His max is probably somewhere in the 530s rn.

He's probably gonna hit 500kg without straps soon as well.

If we talk about how impressive the lift is Colton takes the cake obviously. No suit, low bodyweight, good rom, in full powerlifting comp. Also he is about the same strength as Thor in all powerlifting lifts

The grip strength of Colton has to be something extraordinary.

The fact that only 2 people in history so far have ever pulled 500kg+ conventional and both of them were suited and over 440lbs compared to the 5+ people who have pulled it sumo multiple times at like 300lbs bodyweight tells you all you need to know. Sumo just isnt the same lift its still impressive but should be put in a category of its own.

the ROM difference between thor and the sumo lifters is insane lol

You forgot my lift this morning when I took a piss

FANTASTIC video. 10/10. Thanks for all the work!

Colton has to be the most impressive. Moves the bar almost as much as conv. doesn’t weigh a ridiculous amount and man that 520 moves fast

tyson ridenour has 499.12kg(1100.36lb) loaded there and not 504kg, since the blue plates (and the bar) he's using are 20kg and not 45lb(20.412kg) and him counting them as 45lb overshoots the weight by .412kg per blue plate (and the bar once again), don't trust me?, 5*45lb each side=450lb=204.12kg, 6*20kg each side=240kg, 15kg+15kg=30kg, 2.5kg+2.5kg=5kg(comp collars), 204.12kg+240kg+30kg+5kg+20kg bar=499.12kg.

this issue with miscalculating weights is a recurring problem with tyson since his 1000lb(454kg) warm up was 990.02lb(449.06kg), his 1075lb(488kg) attempt was 1065.02lb(483.08kg), his 1055lb(480kg) for 3 reps wasn't the correct weight even counting the 20kg plates and bar as 45lb and it would be 1035lb, but in reality it was 1026.83lb(465.76kg) and also 1055lb=478.54kg is barely big enough to round up to 479kg but he called it 480kg in a video.

I have to say that I don't hate him or anything and I don't want anybody to do so, I really enjoy his content but it's hard to believe he hasn't ever noticed this, that nobody ever told him and that this isn't even partially on purpose to get more viewer engagement or to inflate his numbers, I'm also against the unrealistic expectations and misinformation this could generate, and even if it doesn't seem like a huge difference and like I'm exagerating, 480*3(what he claimed) would be the heaviest triple ever and it would mean a 1rm of 505-510 higher than the 502.5 unofficial record at the time where 465*3(what he did) wouldn't even reach the weight of the heaviest 4rep deadlift set and it would mean a 1rm of around 490kg nowhere near the wr, similarly 504kg(what he claimed) would be a world's first and it would be even crazier considering his body weight and 499kg(what he did) was a weight that had already ben beaten by 3 people, 500, 501 and 502.5, eddie having done it 6 years before.

it could help a lot if whoever is reading this would make him aware of this via dms, comments or any other method since I've tried and have never gotten a reply or any sign that he read it.

if you are wondering, yes there are in fact competition calibrated plates in pounds but it can be seen in the background of many videos that he is in fact using kilo plates, every calculation in this comment was done assuming a 20kg bar, if I'm mistaken and he's using a 45lb bar in some/all of them, just add 0.41kg to whatever number I got, thanks a lot for taking the time to read this, I'm sorry if there are any spelling mistakes since english is not my first language, have a wonderful day.

I didn’t finish the video yet, but I wouldn’t be surprised if I saw el campeon on this list
