What happens when the personality of those living in the house guides every design decision? In Itatiba, in the interior of São Paulo, Bruno Luperi and Lígia found in the land the starting point for a refuge tailored to their family. With more than 15 meters of elevation change and preserved forest, the site led architects Otto Felix and Melina Romano to create a layout that follows the geography and multiplies the relationships between interior and exterior.

The identity of the residents appears in the choice of materials, in the architecture with Brazilian references, and in the interiors, which mix modern design, antiques, folk art, and devotional objects. Even a stone where the couple used to sit before the construction was incorporated into the house. In the new episode of "Very Personal Homes," Casa Vogue shows how a residence can reveal as much about who inhabits it as about the place where it was built.
