I am so excited to finally share this video with you all. It covers the last few weeks of September here in NYC, and honestly, so much has happened. I’ve made some huge improvements to my new Manhattan apartment, but this vlog is also a deeply personal story about navigating life’s highs and lows.
The video opens with this incredibly gorgeous sunset and rainbow over the city on September 25th. Despite the chaos of moving, I was feeling so grateful to still be able to visit my usual spot for a haircut and hold onto a piece of my old routine. But while I was there, I got a call from my mom giving me the chance to speak with my grandmother. I didn't know it then, but that was the very last time I got to talk to her before she passed away.
I sit down to share how I’ve been processing this loss and preparing to head to her funeral, which has added so much heavy emotion to these past few weeks.
To help navigate everything, I poured a lot of my energy into this space. I take you along as I clean and organize each room, making improvements one step at a time until the apartment finally started feeling like a home.
Through it all, I am just overwhelmed with gratitude. I share some amazing gifts I received from you guys, plus a new espresso machine from a company that I am so excited to make a dedicated video on very soon.
By the end of the video, walking into my space, I just felt this massive wave of thankfulness. Seeing the apartment go from completely unpacked to feeling warm and organized means everything to me right now.
Thank you for being here for this next chapter.
