Welcome to Day 4 of 30 Days of Abiding in Christ. Today, I’m slowing down with a zendoodle and spending time reflecting on Psalm 46:10:
“Be still, and know that I am God.”
As I create this zendoodle, I’m using the repetitive process of drawing patterns as a way to slow my thoughts, become present, and make space to listen to God.
Psalm 46:10 invites us into stillness—not simply as a moment of physical quiet, but as an opportunity to remember who God is and rest in His presence.
As you watch, I invite you to slow down with me. Let the patterns, repetition, and Scripture create a little space in your day to breathe, reflect, and be with God.
You don't need to be an artist to practice creative prayer. Sometimes simply putting pen to paper can help us become still enough to notice what God is doing within us.
