We headed out to Glen Helen for some Pro 4 short course racing, and Travis got the chance to jump into Brunt's 900 horsepower truck for the weekend. He's still dealing with a broken leg and hasn't spent much time in one of these trucks, but that didn't stop him from getting after it. We actually had a pretty good shot at the podium both days, but the truck had other plans. Definitely had some ups and downs, but it was a fun weekend hanging out with everyone and getting back into some off road racing.

As much shit as I like to give TP, this one genuinely impressed me so much. As some of you may know, my background is short-course. I have been racing this series for just over 8 years, 3 of them being in some form of truck. It’s one of the best forms of racing out there but also one that will beat you up like no tomorrow. For him to show up with a broken leg, jump into a Pro4 for the first time in 5 years and race upfront with the championship guys at the last race, proves he’s still got it in him. Banks did such an amazing job being in his ear and helping both on and off track, we knew it wasn’t going to be easy. Same to the crew guys, you guys killed it all weekend. Hopefully we can make this happen again next year and maybe I’ll be able to get back out there myself :) hope you all enjoyed the video!!

The pro 4 is a beast that can be managed, but maybe not tamed. It was a learning experience for us all and trying some new stuff. A day of testing would have definitely been good, but we still weren’t to far off pace (P3 in qualifying was 1.5 seconds off the leader). A broken transmission wasn’t to far off what I might have expected, but a computer fault definitely wasn’t on my bingo card. I’d say you will probably see him back in a truck next year (pro4), and same for Gray. Prospec 2027 is gonna be hot.

Thanks yall for watching

43, nothing has changed. Broken body. Still competes. The GOAT.

I love how he never gets mad. Such a good role model. Such a great driver and a BA driving in those conditions with a healing leg. Great job!.

Absolute warrior! Great weekend in Cali. Racing fresh off a surgery, don't see grit like that every day.

If Travis is the heart of Nitro, Banks is the soul. That dude loves this stuff!

Brings back memories of X-Games 17 where TP competed in Rally with hand controls due to a broken right foot after Thursday night's best trick. We love ya TP. Stay healthy my friend. We need you around for a while longer. 👍

The world might be going to shit, but we have one of the greatest humans of all time in Travis Pastrana.

@danielboudreau6680 2 days ago

Brave to do that, but the reality is if you look on social media, he’s now hospitalized and just had surgery because his broken leg got infected after this.

He used to get away with this stuff without any complications. It really sucks that the older you get the more complicated recovering gets.

We love our Brunt workwear….we started buying it because of their support for Travis….and we found it’s awesome gear.

Anybody that lets Travis drive their vehicle... They pretty much are guaranteed. He's going to wad it up or destroy it somehow. But the recognition they get from it is worth it

This is what keeps Pastrana In the greats…. He will find a way to make himself the rookie underdog… and win the fight from the bottom. To see an absolute legend out of his comfort zone reminds me to stay out of mine…. Saw Travis at the airport on his way to this event. Authentic, energetic.. absolutely contagious. Rock on dude.

5 weeks out from a tib/fib with hardware! I'm 9 weeks out from mine (shattered bad, 2 plates, 12 screws), and just starting weight with 1 crutch, cane soon. I'm also early 40s. I couldn't imagine. Travis is a trooper.
