Today on my channel, I have a very special episode. I visited one of Ukraine’s most well-known priests, Oleksii Filyuk, who has built a huge audience around his content: more than 1.3 million followers on Facebook, 220,000 on YouTube, 780,000 on TikTok, and over 200,000 on Instagram.

I wanted to see not only his public life, but also what his everyday life is really like.

In this video, you will see:

🏡 The house Oleksii bought in 2011 for only 12,000 Ukrainian hryvnias and arranged himself;

🌳 A cozy yard, his household, and rabbits;

🥔 The legendary cellar, which has already become a place almost every blogger wants to visit. It is where homemade preserves, vegetables, fruit, and other delicious foods are stored;

🔥 Oleksii’s hospitality – before filming, he treated us to delicious shashlik, young potatoes, and a homemade cake;

⛪ An old wooden church, more than 100 years old, where he conducts services;

🙏 The story of a small village with only around 80 residents, yet one that is known far beyond Ukraine.

What particularly impressed me was his philosophy of life:

“Where you were born is where you are needed.”

This is where he was born, grew up, and continues to serve people today.

Oleksii also told us about his daily routine. He wakes up every morning at 6:30 AM, takes care of the household, welcomes guests, runs his blog, and conducts church services.

Another important part of this episode is his large family. Oleksii is raising six boys, who help him around the household and have become a real source of support.

Every day, people and bloggers from different parts of Ukraine come to visit him — to talk, record videos together, or simply experience this unique atmosphere.
